About Me

My name is Amanda and I'm 24 years old. I currently live in Oregon, where the sun is beautiful! That is, when it decides to come out and join everyone else. I am quite happily married and have two cats, Shyla and Merlin. Shyla is a self-proclaimed goddess, which makes sense since her name means goddess and Merlin is completely obsessed with me. 

I have to say that I really have no idea to write. However, I find myself want to write, constantly. Whether it is on my novel or just to express myself. Writing has always been my closest friend and confidant. I find that I am much clearer and loquacious when I write. I've been working on my speaking though! I do story time every day for the kids at YMCA, which I think is helping.

I love all kinds of music (for the most part) and spend most of my days watching either Ancient Aliens or Investigation Discovery, working on school work (I attend college online), and working at the YMCA. 

I've been wanting to write this novel, Darkness Falls, for many years. In fact, it is not a novel at all, but a full length series. I could not possibly tell the story of Rowan in just one short book. She is a character that I have become obsessed with, and I hope you all will too!
